Something’s messed up with the electricity in my area (again) so the power company needs to come and connect my neighbour’s house to ours and then eventually fix some wire underground Monday I think. So pretty much I’m not really supposed to have my computer online overnight meaning PC Radio and our Profile-host will be down.
Affected Time Period: 23 August ‘08 - 25 August ‘08
Update: This issue has been re-instated until August 30th
So I just realized that when I moved to Dreamhost, I never restored our updates database. This left everyone who wanted to try out our software to pretty much suffer with error messages and the inability to use the program. Well I apologize for the inconvenience but am now happy to say the files are back online so if things aren’t working I honestly don’t know what’s up with that. I mean, Spherack 2 isn’t working for me still… if anyone has any luck with it I applaud you. =/
Not to worry though everyone, for I’m planning on building a new updater for future products that will be far from as buggy and much less annoying to use.
For those of you looking to play Spherack 2, I’ll try to get a manual update package available within the upcoming week or so. With Spherack Reloaded coming up, Spherack 2 isn’t going through any development anymore really, so this one installer pack will be all you’ll need to get by.

Though the service won’t be usable by most people, I’m opening up a small online support database for users who live near Frank and me and have us build or repair their computers. Basically when we build a computer we tag it with our OEM logo in the Windows System Information window as well as throw a PCS Sticker on it, of course. Nowadays, the PCS sticker will additionally hold a “Computer ID” which the user can type into our support site and have access to drivers & useful software for their machine. There will additionally be a Digsby widget through which users can just IM me for live online support.
Good stuff, I know, right?
Police to Track All Vehicles into New York City, writes David Theroux at the Beacon. Under a new federally-funded program, “Operation Sentinel”, myriad closed-circuit cameras and license-plate readers would collect data on every vehicle entering Manhattan to check for what they deem suspicious behavior.
The first real point here is that the New York City police are admitting that since they neither know who are actual terrorists or how to find them, everyone is a criminal suspect and will be monitored in the stereotypical bureaucratic belief that extracting information on everyone will somehow solve the problem.
Theroux goes on to explain that prior to 9/11, officials had all the information they needed, but did not act on it; thus, to prevent another 9/11, collecting more information will have little effect. Rather, it merely increases the police state and encroaches further upon the liberty and privacy of law-abiding citizens.
(Incidents like these only go to show that more people should read Cory Doctorow’s Little Brother, or at least stop subscribing to the totalitarian excuse that if one has nothing to hide, he should not mind his privacy’s being invaded.)
Well you may be wondering why I haven’t been updating the site as much as I usually do and that is because of tons of other work I’ve been doing.
Rejoice, all ye believers, for Obama is not the Antichrist!
That is the proclamation Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins, authors of the Left Behind series, have rendered unto us. Christian Newswire:
I’ve gotten a lot of questions the last few weeks asking if Obama is the antichrist,” says novelist Jenkins. “I tell everyone that I don’t think the antichrist will come out of politics, especially American politics.”
“I can see by the language he uses why people think he could be the antichrist,” adds LaHaye, “but from my reading of scripture, he doesn’t meet the criteria. There is no indication in the Bible that the antichrist will be an American.”
Perhaps, to play Captain Obvious for a moment, that’s because there was no word in ancient Greek for “America”.

Hey all just wanted to let you know I’ll be away on vacation in Canada (Niagra Falls & Stuff) August 13th through the 15nd. I’ll have my old laptop but being it doesn’t have built-in wireless I have to take the wireless adapter from my desktop with me which means ZNet-III will be offline until I return. This means PC Radio and our Spherack Profile Server (which you shouldn’t worry about being the game isn’t even out yet) won’t be available. Sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll try to write something while I’m up there for the site, but it’s a Pentium III laptop… can’t do much with it really. I’m going to be buying a new one after a few more paychecks from work though! Hence why I’ve basically been working every day; to get moneys.
Anyways, see you all in a few days!
Yep, I’ve finally gotten around to playing around with my music-making software stuffs again and have compiled this song called “Starburst!” The name makes perfect sense, for the album is “Sean in Space” after all…
Well, with any service that gets popular around the internet, there’s bound to be some hackers included in that population. The same stands for Twitter. Kaspersky Labs discovered a fake profile of the Brazilian Celebrity, Kelly Kelly, that promises to link you to hot Brazilian girls, but instead sends you to a malicious application. It’s disguised as Adobe Flash player, however it’s a fake version of it and you have to install it to “see” the “videos.” Additionally, instead of just getting one Trojan out of this, the victim’s machine gets slammed with ten, that are all desguised as MP3 files.
So basically, we can only expect more of these profiles to pop up unless Twitter can possibly do something against this.. which does not seem much likely, sadly.
