Liveblogging the Election

We’re hopping on the bandwagon here and liveblogging election night. I’ll be around for most of the evening; Andrew will come around in a few hours and he’ll likely go until most of the polls close.

Remembering the poll asking how many electoral votes we felt Obama would get, I was laughing when I learned Obama had gotten 349. Everyone was going for 350+.

Actually, I’m the only one that voted for 350, everyone else went for 300-350… I didn’t mean to vote for 350, but I was sooo close. :(

Actually, with North Carolina’s results fully counted and Obama’s being declared the winner, Obama has 364 electoral votes. The poll at 9:17 had 80% at 300-350 and 20% (KJ) at 350+, so KJ was the only one who was close, plus the prediction markets, which were saying 360.
