Something cool will happen in nine hours!

In continuation to our Square-Enix “Countdown Site” coverage, the countdown site is actually counting down, to something finally, THUS, legally making it a “Countdown Site” as opposed to a “Why do I need to see this, I already have a clock on my system tray” site.

What is this a countdown to though really? We know that the site’s for Chrono Trigger DS, but what’ll happen on the countdown site? It just became a countdown and we’re already losing its amazing counting powers?! What a waste! Might as well have put a giant sign up saying:

It sure would make a much greater hit with today’s kids, but then again the last thing we need is a change in gameplay to go along with it, such as Marle cutting herself when her father’s an ass and Chrono sexually assaulting Frog to discover how and why the thing is speaking English when its a toad, and especially how its still living in a Japanese video game.

But really, we all know this will probably be the launch to some colourful website describing the game with many animations and pictures. It’ll be all we’ll have until we can finally say that “It’s Hurr.”
