The French Declare War on Thinness

in what seems to be a parallel to the War on Obesity we have in the US, in a law that fails even to define what “extreme thinness” means, but nonetheless recommends fines of up to €30,000 ($48,000) for the promotion of it, whatever it is.

It’d be interesting to see if such policies escalate, along with the war on obesity we see in the West. One day, perhaps, only those with medium build will be allowed to show their faces in public.
