The Sansa and why you should want It

Sandisk’s Sansa e250 2GB mp3 player is pwnage in the palm of your hand. For cheaper than the iPod you can get nearly all its features and more. You can actually get the 8GB Model (e280) for the price of a 4GB iPod as well as maintain your self-esteem by knowing you’re not riding a bandwagon.

The Sansa can:

  • Play MP3’s
  • Play videos
  • View photos
  • Listen to Radio (FM)
  • Record (has a built in microphone)
  • Record Radio

Additionally, it has a built-in MicroSD card slot so you can expand the player’s memory even further.

Some people will also be very relieved to hear that the Sansa does not require any additional software to be installed. So no crappy iTunes and those processes Apple keeps hidden in the background, simply plug the Sansa into your PC and you can open it up in Windows Explorer.

Easy file transfers, no additional software needed.

I’ve tried out multiple MP3 players in the past including the iPod and I’d have to say that the Sansa is the easiest to use and best “bang for the buck.” Why spend $149 on an iPod just because everyone else has one when you can get an 8GB Sansa e280 for the same price? Don’t forget you can use the microSD slot to increase that past 8GB!

It’s a no-brainer, really.

Gets the job done, easy to use, amazing price. This scores a 10/10.

iPod > other MP3 players, on basis of interface, integration and the fact that it doesn’t have too many features.

Price-wise, it’s got problems, as do most devices with good interfaces. But the product itself…
