Navy needs to do a bit of remodeling…

Hey all,

First off I’d like to apologize for the lack of posts lately, but I’ve finally gotten something to share! You’ll probably get a kick out of this…

The US Naval Base Coronado has gone unnoticed since its groundbreaking in 1967, but Google had to come ruin the party with their “Google Earth” program. The satellite mapping system revealed to the public, that the structure when seen from the air was shaped like a swastika. The Navy apparently knew this all along, but because the airspace over the base is restricted, they didn’t think anyone would notice. Well, Technology sure has improved since then, hasn’t it?

“We told the Navy this was an incredibly inappropriate shape for a structure on a military installation,” said Morris S. Casuto, regional director of the organization. He added, however, that his group “never ascribed evil intent to the structures’ design.”

So now in response to this, the Navy is spending $600,000 to make a bit of modifications to the roof and additional structural adjustments. GG.
