eBuddy finds the iPhone; Trillian? Almost…

Web and mobile instant messaging service provider, eBuddy has announced iPhone support for users of their service. Based in the Netherlands, where the iPhone still has not recieved a release date, eBuddy had to grab one off of ebay, have it ship across the Atlantic, and then find a way to get it working being they have no AT&T service in Europe.

After a large amount of work, they got it working, and were able to build a messenger designed for the iPhone.

iPhone users can simply point their browser to eBuddy (http://ebuddy.com) and they will come to a special landing page exclusively for iPhone users. Read about it at the eBuddy blog.

Back here on the American side of the world, the folk behind Trillian Astra have announced an iPhone interface as well, which is currently in development. If you have an iPhone, go over and apply for Alpha testing.I’m sure they could use some people to help out with testing.
